What customers say?

“ You come into any of Wolfgang Pucks restaurants expecting the best and the cuisine at Cut does not disappoint! It’s nestled off of 31st street in Georgetown looking over the C&O Canal. I came for brunch and enjoyed the vast Neighborhood Georgetown Brunch which offers a pastry basket that includes a lovely blueberry muffin, plain & chocolate croissant, sweet corn madeleines, accompanied by an array of jams and butter. The yogurt was served first and came with berries and a granola nut mix. The endive Caesar was crisp and fresh with shaved Parmesan cheese accompanied by a dressing that gave us anchovy lovers that classic taste. They also give you a fruit bowl with melon, cantaloupe and more berries. For the main breakfast entree. I went with the Benedict with a confit beef bacon on top of a home made biscuit covered with a hollandaise. ”

“ Only reason I put 4/5 for food is because my steak was under cooked but everything else was amazing...my partner and I enjoyed everything...the Bread was Amazing!! Burratta was really refreshing. My partner had grilled chicken which was sooo flavourful,we will try to recreat that dish at home. Cocktails were good aswel and the wine! I forgot our servers name but such a knowledgeable Gentlemen, very Professional and a nice human being, made our experience really awesome. I know he had lots of experience in the industry and has worked at top places,I wish I remembered his name to mention it. Thanks to everyone. TIRAMISU AND FUILLE...WOW WOW WOW!!!! ”

“ Located within the Rosewood hotel in the Georgetown section of Washington DC, this restaurant is beautiful inside. Actually, the decor is amazing! I had sushi tonight, and it was fantastic as well. Cut is definitely a great special occasion or date night establishment to visit. While expensive, I was super impressed with it here all the way around. ”

“ Beautiful anniversary dinner here last night. The food and service was excellent start to finish. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. We started with a drink on the rooftop - always fun in a city. Then dinner - there are several do not miss items - black garlic faccia, butter lettuce salad, sweet corn tortellini, the steak, the Wagyu Bolognese, and the desserts. In short all of it. ”

“ Simply put, Amazing! Dinner at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT has an intimate, romantic, and cozy atmosphere that really makes you feel at ease and welcome; also making it the perfect dinner out as a couple! The staff were all immensely friendly and very helpful with my significant others gluten and black pepper allergies! They took great care of that as well as the both of us in general. The craft cocktails were incredible with perfect balances of flavor and aesthetically appealing looks! Our dinner, she and I both got a steak, which looked so amazing I forgot to take a picture, was absolutely a gastro game changer! We both agree that they were the best steaks we’ve ever had by far. The flavor wasn’t overpowering, it was just right and the temperatures were simply perfect! If you're in DC and have an appetite for steak then CUT by Wolfgang Puck should be you’re first consideration! ”

“ So I came here for restaurant week and what can I say? This place is so good! Pretzel bread was so good my friend had to order another one! So a great start. Everyone else was going dry January so they enjoyed the mocktails but for me if I’m paying $16 (how much the mocktails are) it needs to have some punch to it. Also the featured restaurant week cocktails were 15… I think I got a Long Island. Group ordered the butter lettuce salad- clean tasting I loved. You can get the bluefin tuna but if for r week be mindful of how add ons can impact that restaurant week price. The Ceasar was a favorite as well. Second course: I got the wagyu bolognese and it slapped! The rockfish was also super good! My friend got the crab rice which she enjoyed and of course someone got the steak (up charge as well). And all of us loved our food. Really enjoyed the rockfish. We ordered all desserts from the r week so churros, cheesecake and soufflé. We have no complaints about the foood at all! All the food is good- make sure if they are busy you double check what was ordered. Thought I ordered a Long Island but yeah… cocktails are like 18-27 ish? Be prepared for that. Still water is $10, sparking water 10$ by the bottle so be mindful of that. Ordering more pretzel bread is gonna cost you like $4 so agains be mindful. The place is cute they didn’t rush us out and honestly no issues there! Stop here! ”

“ Absolutely outstanding dining experience at CUT by Wolfgang Puck in Georgetown. This place did not disappoint! The selection of steaks is top-tier — I highly recommend the filet mignon or New York Steak which were cooked to perfection. For appetizers the top choices were the beet salad and crab cake. Our favorite side dishes were the creamed spinach, patatas bravas, and the corn— all bursting with flavor and great for sharing. Their wine list is impressive and perfectly complements the menu. The bar area is sleek and stylish — ideal for a date night or even solo dining. There’s also plenty of space to accommodate medium-sized groups comfortably, which is a huge plus. Service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout the evening. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a top-notch steakhouse experience in D.C.! ”
